Why does a fence post need high grade steel ?
The higher the steel grade, the more consistent and reliable the post will be when it is being installed and over the life of the fence. The GalStar Extreme uses Waratah's highest steel grade.
Why does a fence post need a hot dipped coating ?
Fence posts are exposed to atmospheric and ground elements that vary widely from region to region and from paddock to paddock. Consider the atmospheric conditions on your property (such as fertiliser, industrial fallout or coastal location) and the ground conditions in each paddock (such as pH levels, conductivity and moisture). A GalStar hot-dipped galvanized post provides the best protection for steel from these variable elements.
