NOTE: Soft wire is better suited to fire prone areas because it is heat treated during the manufacturing process, therefore it is less affected by extreme heat - such as the heat of a grass or bush fire.
Also the increased diameter of soft wires ( 3.15mm and 4.00mm ) over high tensile wires means that the wire takes longer to heat up in the case of a fire - and also dissapates heat more rapidly once the fire has gone.
